Privacy Policy

tl;dr — SlickStack runs entirely on your device. We don't have servers that collect your data. We don't see your emails, documents, or conversations. The only data we ever get is what you explicitly send us (like a support email).
1. What We Collect
We collect only the information you give us directly:
- When you order: Your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see your full credit card number.
- When you contact us: Whatever you include in your email or support message.
- Website analytics: Our website (slickstack.ai) is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect anonymous usage data as part of their CDN service. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts.
2. What We DON'T Collect
This is the important part:
- Your AI conversations. SlickStack runs AI models locally on your device. We have no access to what you ask it or what it generates.
- Your documents and data. Your emails, files, spreadsheets, and any other content you process with SlickStack stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us.
- Usage telemetry. SlickStack does not phone home. We don't track which features you use, how often, or for what purpose.
- Integrations data. When you connect Gmail, Slack, or other services, those connections are between your device and those services directly. We are not in the middle.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Order information: To process your order, ship your SlickStack, and communicate about your purchase.
- Support communications: To respond to your questions and provide ongoing support if you have a support plan.
- Billing: To charge you for support plans you've subscribed to.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you make a purchase, your payment information goes directly to Stripe — we don't store it on our systems. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
5. Data Retention
- Order records: We keep your order information for as long as necessary for tax and business records (typically 7 years).
- Support emails: Retained for the duration of your support relationship plus 2 years.
- SlickStack device: You control all data on your device. Factory reset instructions are included if you ever sell or transfer your SlickStack.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Cancel your support plan at any time

7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. However, since SlickStack keeps your data on your device, the most important security measures are yours: keep your device physically secure, use strong passwords, and keep macOS updated.
8. Children's Privacy
SlickStack is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here and notify active support subscribers via email. The "Effective date" at the top tells you when it was last updated.
